Fault-finding is easier — and faster — the more detail you can give us up front. Each fault is different, so please include as much of the following as you can when you get in touch:

• ✓The system you're using — motherboard, RAM, hardware and software, and which operating system
• ✓The application software and product driver version in use
• ✓A description of the input source and resolution
• ✓Full details of any error messages displayed
• ✓What you were trying to achieve when the error occurred
• ✓Screenshots — a snapshot of Device Manager and the application screen showing the error or captured image is genuinely useful
