What's the difference between VigiControl licence tiers?

Standard covers single-wall deployments. Pro adds MultiWall support, full User Rights Management, and the Web Interface. Pro+Milestone and Pro+Genetec add direct integration with those third-party video management systems — confirm which VMS a site runs before quoting either.

Is Wall Monitor a separate purchase?

No — Wall Monitor ships bundled with VigiControl, watching temperatures and voltages across backplanes, capture cards, SQX cards, SBC and graphics cards, with alerts via on-screen warning, buzzer or email.

Do I need VigiControl to use Wall Designer?

No — Wall Designer is used to configure the standalone controller range (HX4, FX4 family) directly over USB or network, independently of VigiControl, which manages VSN chassis-based walls instead.

How many IP streams can VigiControl decode?

Up to 8 IP streams on the Standard tier; Pro removes that ceiling, decoding as many streams as the underlying hardware can support.
