Single 4K HDMI source to four HD outputs
The Xtreme-HX4 is a stand-alone controller that plays a single 4K HDMI source out across four HD outputs, splitting one 4Kp30 source into a coordinated four-screen display without needing a full creative multi-input processor. It's the simplest and most cost-effective entry point in the X-Series range for projects that only need to fan a single 4K source out to a small video wall.
Each output can take its input from any region of the source image — all cropping, scaling, rotation and frame-rate conversion is handled in hardware, and regions can overlap so one output can replicate another, or any creative splice of the source material. This supports non-rectangular screen arrangements and mixed monitor orientations from a single input, configured through Wall Designer via USB or the network port. A REST API is also available for third-party control integration.
The HX4 is the right choice when there's genuinely only one source to distribute — a single 4K media player or PC feeding a small 2x2 or similar video wall — and the multi-input flexibility of the FX4 range isn't needed. For projects with more than one live source that need switching or creative multi-window layouts, step up to the Xtreme-FX4.
