Designed to be versatile and adaptable, the VxSwitch32 provides a complete 32x32 video or audio crosspoint switch within a single PCI plug-in card.

VxSwitch32 is supplied with driver software for Windows® 2000 and Windows® XP. A simple and intuitive Windows
application program is provided enabling users to control the crosspoint switch or, for users who wish to control
VxSwitch32 from their own software, an SDK is also provided.

VxSwitch32-H is used with the Vigitalnt-Pro range of multi-screen graphics adapters. In this configuration VxSwitch32V is connected to the Vigilant via inter-card ribbon cables, enabling the Vigilant video overlay's to select 1 of 32 possible video sources. A single VxSwitch32-H card will support up to eight Vigilant graphics adapters.

Models;

The EMS VxSwitch32 is available in 2 models:

1. VxSwitch32-SA. A general purpose stand alone video switch.
2. VxSwitch32V. This is used with the Vigilant-Plus and the Vigilant-Pro multi-screen graphics adapters.

The EMS VxSwitch32V is connected to the Vigilant multi-screen card via inter-card ribbon cables, (VSRC-set) enabling the Vigilant video overlays to select 1 of 32 possible video sources. The VxSwitch32V supports up to eight Vigilant cards, providing a total of 32 screen videowall

The Vigilant driver software detects the presence of the VxSwitch32-V and automatically controls the video switch, expanding the input capabilities for each video overlay from 4 inputs, as standard, to 32.

VxSwitch32-SA is supplied with 4 multi-way splitter cables for connecting video inputs and outputs. Each cable comprises of a 26way D plug connected to 16 BNC sockets via individual co-ax cables. (Cable length is 600mm)
