A Video/Data Wall makes it possible to view all information on a virtually large high resolution display
comprising of many "smaller" screens. The source of the displayed objects can be data from your PC, e.g. PowerPoint presentation, internet browser, flash, graphical data/charts etc.. and/or the displayed
objects can be combined with live video overlays from sky set-top box, DVD, camera, web cam, aerial cartography, medical training/teaching, network surveillance, telecommunications, video conferencing and
many more applications.
The EMS Vigilant range of graphic cards provide high level multi-screen capabilities for complex data/video wall
applications or multi-screen desktop applications. Using multiple Vigilant cards it is possible to spread the Windows® desktop across 36 screens (64 with the new Vigilant-X series).
The construction of the multi-screen system can be arranged in any rectangular format e.g, 1x4, 4x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 6x4, 1x12, 2x8 etc... The output screens can be a conventional Video/Data Wall, or
built out of multiple screens such as Plasma, LCD's, VGA monitors or Projectors (Beamer).

The basic Vigilant card simply extends your Windows desktop over a maximum of 36 screens.

The Vigilant-Plus allows for up to four external video overlays (4 x composite or 2 x Svideo)

The Vigilant-Pro in combination with the
Avant-9 card enables 9 video overlays with full flexibility such as picture in picture. Each
Vigilant-Pro can connect to 4 Avant-9 cards, enabling 36 video overlays over 4 screens (36 composite
or 36 Svideo inputs).

The Vigilant-SQ in combination with the
Avant-SQ16 card enables 16 video overlays again with picture in picture flexibility. Each Vigilant-SQ
can connect to 4 Avant-SQ16 cards, enabling 64 video overlays over 4 screens (64 composite or 64
Svideo inputs).

The New range of Vigilant-X series now has support for VGA, DVI as well as composite, S-Video & HDTV screens.

VigiControl -
Video Wall controller software
This software enables you to launch and place applications and video overlay windows onto your desktop. The desktop setup can then be saved for later retrieval, many set-ups can be saved and recalled.
VigiControl also enables you to control the video/data wall over a local area network.
