SIP
Digital Stream Bus
The
Avant SIP video bus operates at 5Gb/s and is used to broadcast
the captured video to the graphics adapters. Each graphics adapter
has four video overlay processors, one per display channel.
The overlay processors select the required video channel from
the SIP video stream, crops and scales the video window onto
the output channel. Each overlay processor has sixteen scalers
and cropping units allowing up to sixteen video windows to be
positioned on each display output. (Maximum sixty-four windows
per graphics adapter)
